Why choose a device on the BYOD portal?
Since the inception of the BYOD program at St George’s Anglican Grammar School, the need for reliable hardware, extra warranty and after-sales support has been identified as crucial. To ensure a high level of quality service, the School has partnered with Compnow to deliver via this BYOD portal.
All devices purchased from the Compnow BYOD portal come with a case or cover and an optional 3-year extended warranty with Accidental Damage Insurance (up to 2 claims) supported onsite at school from the local team at Compnow. This is in addition to the support provided at St George’s Anglican Grammar School provided through the IT Manager and IT Helpdesk.
Can I buy a device elsewhere?
The decision to purchase through Compnow or not remains the choice of the parent/guardian or carer. St George’s Anglican Grammar School has, however, worked closely with Compnow to select the best device for our needs and hence purchasing through Compnow is recommended.
If you choose to purchase a device elsewhere it must meet the minimum specifications found on the St George’s Anglican Grammar School website here.
Please note that the device must only have Windows 10 or 11 as the operating system.
Can we pick up our purchase from the school?
Yes, if you’d like to pick up your purchase from the School, please choose “School Shipping” from the drop down menu on the Shipping Details page.
